Staff is friendly and so is management, and sincerely I appreciate all the services and hospitality they have provided.
As a veteran in hospitality that now works in fine dining......this hasn't been OK. It's why I refuse to come back......
Like what happened guys? You just gave up? Is there not enough leadership or staff,....or is it simply the fact that you don't care?
It breaks my heart, because I had the ultimate respect for ya'll, but naturally it was lost.
And your sign has been laying down on the pavement since the derecho storms.......is that a white flag or a call for help?

I went today 8/4/24 to try the gym with a 3 day pass with my husband. Upon arriving, we waited at the front desk for awhile and no one ever came to the front so we just went ahead and worked out. This gym is very filthy. It's hard to see from the photos but they don't clean around the machines. It looks like it's been ages since they have! My husband said there's not enough variety of leg machines compared to EOS fitness and several of the machines are really old. I was fine with the amount of machines but couldn't convince him we should sign up for 24 hour fitness. I am very disappointed in the lack of cleanliness.

UPDATE: I’ve been sick for over a week now after getting in the pool. Some kind of respiratory bug. Fun.
TL;DR disgusting, broken, health-hazard, fire the GM
Been coming here on and off for a few years (before and after Covid), and in the last year this place has become a cesspool of filth. Broken pool showers, trashed wet sauna, strobing lights, and an absolutely primordial spa and pool. Today it was so bad we could SMELL the pool as we walked in. Whomever is running this place is either lazy or incompetent. Will be asking for a discounted rate until they clean it up, otherwise I gotta find another lap pool.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! 0 Stars!
On August 4th - 2024 the receptionist attempted to tells me that I could not use the room used for classes because I was "teaching" a class. I was not, I was practicing with my team. Something I have been doing and paying 24 Hr Fitness to do for the LAST 5 YEARS. She then proceeded to call the general “manager” who was an absolute uneducated jerk on the phone.
His argument was that we can’t dance in the space because other customers were “afraid” to enter to workout when we weren’t even taking up the entire space!! We were literally in the corner.
In the last 5 years I’ve been in several locations of 24 hrs Fitness and this never happened to us.
I’m the director of my dance team and I was not doing a dance class, I was having a dance practice for a performance we had and this “manager” treated us like trash. I am honestly sick of the service at 24 hr and that’s why y'all lost 12 memberships, as I rather take my business somewhere else.
Astonishing that a gym where the quality of its premises has declined significantly, would be okay with losing costumers so drastically. I will enjoy watching 24 go bankrupt and under while this manager goes back to flipping burgers where he belongs.

On my last visit, I was informed I could no longer work out at this gym because it has decided to call itself a “super sport” gym and my membership is only good for “sport” gyms. Nothing about the facility has changed or improved, and it’s the only gym in Houston I’ve ever used (except for one that closed years ago). I’ve been a 24 Hour Fitness member for fifteen years, and suddenly there is no gym convenient to my house where I can work out. The real reason they are doing this is that I have a lifetime membership deal where I paid a lot up front in exchange for a set annual rate for life. A few years ago they tried to weasel out of that deal and ended up losing a class action lawsuit. This is just another attempt to force out some of their oldest members.
Edit: I already reached out to you at the contact_us address several weeks ago when this happened. You never responded, which is why I left this review.
