We had a very good experience at Coltivare. The food was truly excellent. Our orders of spaghetti, meatballs, grilled chicken, and roasted cauliflower were all expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. And the crostata for dessert was a good recommendation by our waiter. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, with a high energy that added to the excitement of our meal. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and provided great service throughout the evening. Overall, Coltivare is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious Italian cuisine and a fun, energetic dining experience.

Love this place! I’ve been coming here since they opened almost a decade ago and every dish I’ve tried so far has been excellent. They have a great cocktail and mocktail menu as well. Parking can be a pain but I’ve always been able to find parking in the neighborhood nearby or across the street.

Love Coltivare! Fresh herbs and lettuce from their garden… the dough and crust on the pizza is perfect. You can take your time dining in or order pickup. They made me an off the menu specialty cocktail I asked for — impressive collection of wines and liquor.

Intended to come here for a group dinner but the rest of the group canceled so my husband and I came for a date night instead. It has been at least two years since we dined here last and we certainly won’t wait another two years to come back. They didn’t always take reservations, but I am so happy that they do now! We were asked to wait in the garden when we arrived at the restaurant but our table was ready within 10 minutes. Our server gave great recommendations and all of the dishes we shared really hit the spot. We had the charred broccoli salad, grilled cabbage, bolognese and the broccoli pizza. Our only slight misstep was the pizza. It was very good but I think we both just assumed it would have mozzarella in addition to the feta listed on the menu. Our mistake and not theirs but I do prefer a cheesier pizza. Service and ambiance were both great and we were glad we ended up keeping the reservation when our friends had to cancel.

This restaurant has a nice ambiance and I have been wanting to try this restaurant because of their beautiful garden/outdoor area.. for food, we got the chicken wings, tomato basil pizza (gluten free), grilled figs and fried okra. The grilled figs and okra were both good. We like flavorful food, but the chicken wings really slapped you in the face with chili powder, which was very overbearing. This is going to sound harsh, but the tomato basil pizza was pathetic. There was hardly any cheese, only tomatoes was the actual sauce and 15 pieces of ripped up basil (maybe the equivalent of 6-7 whole leaves). The pizza cost $14.50 + $8.50 for a gluten free crust, which I also found ridiculous to charge that much extra for gluten free. Overall, I found this restaurant to be disappointing. I may be willing to try it again because the photos online look so good (especially the dessert). If so, will not be getting any of the items I have already tried, and I certainly won’t be ordering a gluten free pizza for that price. If you’re celiac, your options here will be extremely limited if your concerned with cross contamination as items such as the chicken wings are fried in the same oil as the okra
