i wish i could rate this apartment negative stars. there is not a shadow of a doubt in my mind that most positive reviews are incentivized, as they have a resident portal where you can acquire points that go towards rent discounts if you participate in sharing your data. i have had countless utility/kitchen/plumbing issues since moving in. within three months, my bathroom ceiling caved in because the shower upstairs was not properly attached. my dishwasher has flooded more than once and my kitchen and tub drains get clogged extremely easily. i am uncomfortable in my own living space most days because of these issues. maintenance is nice but the issues are far beyond them and they will do quick fixes instead of actually fixing the root issues. almost every washer is out of order or inadequate and many of the driers do not dry clothing. this makes chore days a nightmare as you can imagine. overall, i feel like my money has been wasted here. i don’t know what i am paying for and there are far better locations for the rent price. the studio floor plan is also claustrophobic and uncomfortable. i was not allowed to tour a studio before signing a lease, instead i was shown a one bedroom space and if i had seen the differences in layout it would have impacted my choice. overall, probably my worst apartment as someone with six years of renter experience.

I’ve been living at this apartment complex for over two years now. When I first moved in, Briana, one of the staff members, was fantastic and always made sure residents were happy. (Thank you Briana for always welcoming me here.) However, over time, the management has deteriorated significantly. I’ve doubted leaving a bad review but today was my last straw with this management. Sorry to leave a very long review but I strongly advised future residents to be aware of what they will get themselves into when signing that lease. I’ve tried my best to not be one of those annoying residents, but even with all of my kindness and empathy I still get the worst attitude from the manager. First, they frequently have temporary staff who are still learning the management process, leading to a lot of confusion and mistakes with things like maintenance requests and general inquiries. The last assistant manager was particularly rude, often belittling me and failing to follow through on promises. Unfortunately, the current manager has a similar attitude—simple questions are met with frustration, and I’ve been spoken to as if I’m beneath them.(This is how I feel, even if she may disagree.) I’ve raised multiple issues that were promised to be resolved, but nothing gets done. I renewed my lease this year hoping things would improve, but the quality has dropped to the point where I rate this place a one star despite the convenient location. They charge for pest control, but even after supposed treatments, bugs are still an issue. They also frequently make billing mistakes, attempting to charge people late fees due to errors on their end. Security is another concern. They initially told me the complex had cameras,(also have signs stating there’s cameras on the gate) but later said the owners didn’t approve them. This is alarming given the rising crime in the area, including attempted thefts and assaults. I’ve had to install my own cameras to feel safe. The apartments themselves are old, and despite multiple requests for new appliances—like my fridge, which has broken down several times—nothing gets replaced. I’ve had to hound management to get any repairs done, and even then, it’s a struggle to get things addressed. Recently, I had an upsetting encounter with the manager, Sandra, which really highlighted the poor customer service here. After accidentally leaving my keys in my apartment, I went to the office for help. Sandra spoke to me very rudely throughout the interaction. When I offered my work ID as collateral to borrow a spare key, she demanded my phone instead. I explained that I didn’t feel safe walking back alone without my phone, and she gave me a scoff and stated “ I don’t want your Apple Watch” when I suggested leaving my Apple Watch instead. (I figured she wanted something valuable for me to leave since I didn’t have my drivers license on me) I felt embarrassed as she was speaking with me in such a tone as she was trying to mock me for saying “I felt uncomfortable” by saying “I feel uncomfortable leaving my key with you” UM I’m sorry you’ve seen me come into this office for two years and yet you treat me like I’m some random thug off the street. Sandra’s dismissive and condescending attitude made an already stressful situation much worse. After some back-and-forth, she finally arranged for someone to walk with me, but the entire exchange left me feeling disrespected and attacked for no reason. (The whole interaction was worse than it sounds, and AGAIN this is how I felt) I would strongly advise anyone considering living here to thoroughly inspect the apartment and understand the contract in detail, as management does not seem to prioritize resident satisfaction or safety. These one star reviews are VERY true, the laundry facility is also a whole other issue.

One laundry room for 13 buildings, at any given time at least 25% of machines are broken. Prices on laundry just doubled without any communication with residents. Feral cats EVERYWHERE. Dog owners seem to think leashes are optional and that picking up after your dog is beneath them. Office staff regularly lies in communications with residents and is unable to provide follow through on anything they say they’re going to do the first time. The ONLY star this place gets is for the maintenance team, those guys are great.

The move was as painless as possible by the staff, and after moving in I can say that I have never seen a repair team move so efficiently and quickly. Andres is the BEST and deserves the whole world!
