For a dive bar, it’s pretty nice and kept in decent shape, clean. The bartenders that were there were both nice. Cool and comfortable inside, plenty of room/tables outside to chat with friends, hang out—more like a yard than a patio in size. I liked this place, will go back.

I go to the bar, they don't have karbach, mostly just sweet cidery sort of beers. Not my thing. If you want a place to drink lone star then this will treat you good on that front.
I went to go pee and Rene the security guy was doing a bump of something, started shouting at me and cursing at me. Judging by some of the other reviews, this is regular behavior for him.
As far as backyard bars go, I'm actually a bit let down on how LITTLE they've done with the backyard. It's really empty and there's Shady Acres just down the street and you'll have a much better experience there. Big Star was cool when there was no competition, but see, there is competition now.

Atmosphere is so great for a "hole in the wall" chill bar. Feels like an old midwest bar basement. Photo booth, pool, and TVs. Our bartender, Scott, was awesome. Pointed us Houston visitors in the right direction for bars in the area for the rest of the night.

Very chill bar, really cool 70's type of environment, good drinks! Good price 👍 has an outside to socialize music, has a pool table, and restrooms are also a view to look at.
It's definitely a new bar to come to on weekends & enjoy a few drinks.

Great bar, nice Barkeepers, not one of those fancy and crowded places. The vibe is really unique.
