I had an outstanding experience at Discount Tire, thanks to Mr. Craig, the manager. I came in to have my wiper blades changed, and he immediately took care of it with such efficiency and professionalism. The service was quick and seamless, and I was thoroughly impressed. Mr. Craig’s dedication to excellent customer service is truly commendable. I highly recommend this location and will definitely return for any future needs. Wonderful service that made my day!

Just had my new wheels and tires put on August 12th, 2024. From the manager (Justin) to Francisco who changed my tires, they were all very kind and professional. My new wheels had some scratches and Francisco (I believe that's his name) made sure to inform me before installing them and ask me to watch as he unwrapped every tire. I only need my wheel installed and it was very inexpensive. Great Job!

Visited this location to have my rear tires patched.. picked up nails in both on a road trip.
Service was good! They did what they were supposed to, ahead of original completion estimation, and had no issues.
My complaints:
1- I get it, discount needs to sell tires. However, I feel it’s a bit deceptive they they use “stopping distance” as a blanket metric for tire replacement. This does not consider tire width (contact patch), tire type (tread pattern, ability to distinguish water through reliefs, etc), but also allegedly has nothing to do with tire age. I am here to tell you that tire age is a very important factor, as rubber (re/tires) gets harder as the tire conditioners expel, leading to less compliance and greater stopping distance. Regardless, they “strongly recommended” the replacement of my tires measuring 5/32 for risk of stopping distance from 150ft to 242ft (or similar). Preposterous… for one, I race cars with tires that come brand new with 5/32-7/32 tread, and those cars will out-stop anything on the road. Their chart also does not consider ABS capability. Anyways… deceptive practice.
2- Please provide more care getting into a car with white interior. Change your gloves, put a seat cover on. I got in my car and immediately my hands had black residue on them from the steering wheel, and there were marks all over the white interior from where they touched. This is just a gripe, and it did wipe off, but it’s a small ask.
Overall… I got the service I asked for and I’m content. Just 2 areas of optimization.

The location near my house had a 2 hour wait, so i drove a bit further to this one, and they repaired my flat tire and got me on the way in about 30min. Super courteous staff and great workmanship!

They consistently exceed expectations … every location … every time. Next level customer service. They not only listen to the customers needs but they seek to understand and then provide solutions that include options that fit your immediate financial needs in an effort to get you safely back on the road.
Whether you’re an existing, long-time customer or you suddenly experience a tire issue and it’s your first visit, they’ll patch, repair or replace - often free of charge. When buying from them, always purchase the contract / warranty for the tire - you’ll easily recoup that expense either due to road hazards or your next purchase. They provide credit based on the amount of tread remaining on the tire. I commute 70 miles each work day to and from my office - driving Houston’s notoriously busy highways and roads. Hazards from giant potholes and broken pavement to roadway debris - not to mention random nails and screws. I’ve experienced more than my share of incidents that impact my tires. Anytime my low pressure sensor comes on, my first stop is my nearest Discount Tire.
Pro-tip: book an appointment online. They claim that customers, on average, experience 30% shorter wait times. On my most recent visit, I ruptured a tire and damaged another near my office - just before a long holiday weekend. Went online to check that they had 2 tires available in the size I needed and booked an appointment for 3:30pm. Within minutes, I received a call back from the store, confirming details and he invited me to come right into the store for service. When I arrived, the location was very busy. Before I even got out of the car, a store associate was present, greeted me by name and knew the issue I was there to resolve. 38 minutes from start to finish to have 4 new tires purchased, installed / mounted and balanced. Impressive considering how busy the store was and that it was just before the start of Memorial Day weekend.
