Dr. Sandoval in Houston is truly exceptional. He performed both our first and second C-sections, and everything was perfect from pregnancy to post-surgery. His expertise and care made us feel completely at ease. The office staff is also fantastic, always friendly and helpful. Everyone at Memorial Hermann speaks highly of him, including nurses who have known him for a long time. We can't recommend Dr. Sandoval enough!

This is seriously the world’s worst doctor’s office. The doctor himself is fine (the two times I finally got to see him) but the front office staff is terrible.
First visit: They have the option to book an appointment online. I was a new patient and booked. I showed up to the office and was told I didn’t have an appointment and that was only a “request” and since no one ever reached out to confirm with me, I didn’t actually have an appointment. Why did no one reach out to me? Surely most people book appointments online these days??
Second visit: Have an “appointment” this time. All was fine, but they did not run my insurance information that I provided, so they charged over $700 on my HSA card. They called me later that day and said they made a mistake and will refund me. The doctor also asked the front staff to call my husband for a prescription confirmation. I verified with them that 1pm that day works, and they wrote it down. Sure enough, he didn’t receive a phone call that day….HE had to call THEM multiple times the next day.
Third visit: went over my well woman exam results, everything was fine…I did get an ultrasound and the two women in there both busted out laughing at the end and said they could see my colon and I, “wasn’t eating a very high fiber diet”. I didn’t think that was very professional but laughed with them.
Fourth Visit: I had started a new 90 day pack of BC pills, so the doctor wanted me to follow up. They called me the day before to confirm my appointment. The morning of, they called me and left a voicemail saying there is something wrong with my insurance. I call back within the hour, said who I was, was put on hold for 14 minutes, and then hung up on. At that point I just showed up to the appointment figuring I can sort it out then. They then tell me that aren’t contracted with Aetna anymore and this will be self-pay. I had been having poor side effects with the BC pill he prescribed and at the last week of the 90 day pack, so now I have to go find a new doctor to find a different means of BC and start the process all over again.
TERRIBLE terrible experience with the office staff.

I would recommend Dr Sandoval and his staff to anyone. He is great, his front staff are friendly and make you feel very welcomed, his ultrasound staff is fantastic, today Lulu did my ultrasound and she was so sweet. I look forward to all my OB visits and can’t wait until my babygirl is here.
