Nice size gym. Nice Availability of workout machines . A lot of the machines are outdated, the tread mills seem to have a lag.
The sauna wasn’t that hot.
The locker room is very clean and nice size lockers. The atmosphere is friendly and quiet.

I just wanted to thank the LA Fitness team and especially my personal trainer Amber Steffen for an amazing experience. I started from zero in January and have seen amazing gains in my personal fitness level. For anyone looking for an absolutely outstanding personal trainer, I highly recommend signing up for sessions with Amber. She is great!!

Came to try and work out with a friend of mine so he send me a guess pass for free admission… I don’t wanna sign up for the gym I have my own gym I like I just wanted to workout with a friend today at his … why after the man said it was take a few minutes for someone to validate my pass he had me sitting down in the lobby waiting . After about 15 minutes of waiting I decided to just get up ….. guess they don’t want people who’s not there own to be here unless they sign up

An extremely aggressive member cursed and verbally threatened me with violence for simply asking him and his girlfriend if they were done using the squat rack. After asking he very aggressively got in my face calling me a MF and threating to beat my a** for interrupting their workout. So of course I walked off and went to the management. As I was walking off, he threatened me more calling me a MF Puss*. I understand that a gym can have a unhinged member to goes into a rage like this, but was extremely disappointing was the way that the management handled the situation. When I explained what happened, Kevin the manager simply said “there is nothing he can do about it, I should just avoid him”. I was in complete shock and disbelief. I pressed the issue explaining that I feel very unsafe working out here now, like I have to look over my shoulder in fear of physical violence. How can I feel safe working out, much less going to the locker room area where there are no cameras. He said, the best he can do is go talk to him. I asked him to look at the camera footage, he said he cannot, they don’t have access to the cameras. He really was not concerned about it, and this type of behavior is acceptable at this gym. I had to press him for his manager’s name and the cooperate number so that I can speak to someone who would hopefully to this altercation seriously. There should be no excuse for a member to feel unsafe at a gym they are paying to attend by physical violence from another member, this should NOT be ok with the management of a respectable gym.

Solid 3.5. Compared to other LAs in the area this one was not crowded - and that I enjoyed. However, the equipment is OLD! Like rust old. Also, while I was on the stair master I noticed members swimming what looked like naked. I’m all for comfortability but in a gym pool? I will retun solely out of convenience but not my 1st choice LA.
