Any step you take towards improving your mental health can be daunting. Will they judge you, will they think you're making it up...or maybe that's just me? I walked into this office full of dread and panic, and there was absolutely no reason to be afraid. From the first telephone interaction, to the front desk and on to Dr. Pesikoff, I felt calm and optimistic that I was going to be okay.
My first visit was over a year ago, and I am okay. I'm doing better every day. I'm thankful for the kindness, intelligence, and proficiency of Dr. Pesikoff and his staff.
Five stars, would recommend!!

Worst psychiatrist. Needlessly puts patients on life-ruining drugs. Medications will irreparably damage your central nervous system and every tissue in your body. They will brainwash you and force you to make horrible life decisions. He is terrible at diagnosing patients too. He will either give you the wrong diagnoses or miss out on ones that could help you. Over 2 years off the medications he put me on, and I'm still suffering from the damage. Might even need jaw surgery because of it now. I've found a better psychiatrist to evaluate me since then, that told me I never needed to be on medications. First one I found. It's so easy to find a better psychiatrist than him. He won't even see you most of the time, just send you to his PAs. Why settle for that when you could see your psychiatrist every visit? I needed psychotherapy, not drugs. Thanks to this doctor, my life is ruined.

I've called this place for 4 years now trying to get in from a referral from a friend said he is a great doctor. But everytime I call they aren't accepting new patients or they say call back in a few months and he should get you in. I leave a voicemail at leat 1 once a month for them to call me back and the reason why and nothing. Talk to someone personally doesn't work or leaving a voicemail begging to get in. If you are that full open a second office for those who can't find a real pyschiatrist

I called the office to see about a screening and becoming a patient. The receptionist sounded nice enough and explained that I could get screened but they were not accepting patients at this time.
I asked -- "so the point of that is?" She gave a pretty snarky comment "You asked what the process is, so I was answering, but we aren't accepting new patients.*"
Pretty interesting answer seeing as the auto answer option I selected was to talk to someone about becoming a patient.
* Paraphrasing, but pretty much.

My son has been seeing Dr Pesikoff regularly for the past 5 years. I only have good things to say about him. He is extremely knowledgeable and well known in his field. Under his care my son has made great progress, and his case is a difficult one. His staff is not always the warmest but they are fast, responsive and efficient, especially when requests, refills and communication are done through the app.
