Great hours! Incredible care and staff! Reasonable rates for procedures and appointments! We LOVE Dr. A and her staff! Our boy started having seizures last year, and Dr. A has been so helpful in guiding us through this process. She is knowledgeable, professional and easy to communicate with. Haley at the front desk is always such a welcoming, warm presence and I love that she knows who our baby is! Every tech we’ve interacted with has been wonderful and patient, especially given the fact that our boy is always a little nervous in the vet’s office. We feel like we are getting personalized, quality care for our pup! This seizure stuff has been scary and anxiety inducing but having a great care team working with us has meant the world.

I have been bringing my dog here for several years and have been generally happy with the services and cost, however, over the past few years, it feels like Corner Vet is reaching for money from their clients and quality of service has really declined. My dog is fairly healthy so I typically only have to bring her in for her annual wellness appointment including vaccinations that need updating. For the past few annual appointments, the vet tech comes in with a laundry list of an invoice. There are so many unnecessary additional charges from the jump and it's so frustrating. It feels predatory and sneaky. I have to question every time why all these charges are on my invoice BEFORE the vet has even come in and assessed my dog and sure enough, as the vet tech starts to explain what all the additional charges are for, none of them are necessary or due at that time so why even put it on the invoice until you have discussed it with me? If you want to show your clients that you are in the business of great animal care, stop doing this! Consult your client FIRST, let the Vet see and assess the animal, then build your invoice with discussed additional medications/preventatives, if any. In addition, I think more consultation about overall health and questions are lacking and appointments seem to be getting shorter and shorter in time spent actually assessing the animal. I spend half of my appointment sending the vet tech back to adjust my invoice before the vet has even come in to see my pet. This is inconvenient for me as a client and bad for business practice as I'm not the first to complain about this. Please do better.

Nina (my Westie) & I love The Corner Vet. Excellent care with genuine concern for our needs. Dr Ahlquist is very knowledgeable with a compassionate demeanor. Same goes for the caring staff. Haley is the best always giving Nina extra attention. An added plus is the convenient location with plenty of parking.

The staff at this veterinary office is very nice. They are kind, patient, great with the pets, and have lovely personalities. Because they are lovely to talk to, I have continued bringing my dog here despite really inconsistent care. But at this point, niceness isn't enough and I need a vet for my dog that takes his health seriously. I've been bringing him in for 3 years at this location and often find myself leaving disappointed and frustrated that they don't seem to be able to provide basic timely care. An example is 2 years ago I brought him in for x-rays because he seemed to be in more pain than normal. Scout is a senior dog with arthritis who was injured before I adopted him. He has poorly healed fractures in his legs, hips, and pelvis from what was probably a car accident prior to him being rescued. Because of this, he has a permanent limp that has led to early arthritis, and he also has chronic pain that flares up when those old injuries are aggravated. If he jumps too hard or overexerts himself playing or just has a bad pain day, it's pretty hard to watch. So 2 years ago I brought him in with swelling in his knee and yelping, paid close to a thousand dollars in x-ray and medication and appointment charges, and I was told the x-rays would be sent out for reading and to bring him back in a week so we could review everything and come up with a treatment plan. I set the follow up appointment and showed up for it one week later, only to be told that they forgot to send out his x-rays and had no information or treatment plan or insight into his pain and injury. I spent the next three hours there waiting for them to get a hold of someone who could read the images and help Scout, which they were initially unwilling to do because they insisted it would take another week or two and I should just set another follow up appointment. It's ALWAYS something like this. Today I had a 4:00 appointment for a wellness exam, shots update, preventative care prescription (flea, tick, heartworm) renewal, and a gabapentin refill since he's running low. I arrived early, waited for twenty minutes before calling out to the back to even be noticed despite ringing the door bells on my way in, spent another 40 minutes waiting to be seen, had a tech come in to give me a care quote for +$300 but was unsure what services he needed despite me being very clear when making the appointment, telling me his pet insurance claim records would be insufficient and he'd need shots that I already told her we were there to receive, running through that broken record of conversation for about ten minutes of repeating myself over and over, and then wrapping the whole thing up with the tech saying she couldn't even give me an estimate on how much longer we'd have to wait for him to be seem at all. Almost an hour past the start time for an appointment to which I arrived early. I picked up my dog and left, without the gabapentin that he needs, because I couldn't take another hours long disorganized disappointing appointment of unprofessional and haphazard care. I feel like a bad dog owner for coming back over and over just because they're so nice when they are also so unbelievably incompetent at providing basic care. Scout has an appointment with a new vet on Tuesday and I'll ration out his pain meds until then so hopefully he's not too uncomfortable, but I can't trust this fiasco of a clinic with his health any longer. They are very sweet people who are flagrantly irresponsible with the health needs of the animals in their care. The front desk lady is a shining star of kindness and customer service who is quick to make appointments and send out records when requested, but everyone else is consistent only in their inconsistency and unreliability. If you love your pets, take them somewhere that will take their health seriously. Photo of Scout attached so the review doesn't get lost, hopefully it's visible enough to prevent someone else making the same mistake I've made by trusting this office with a furry loved ones.

We’ve been taking our Great Pyrenees to this vet since she was a puppy… they recently spayed her (11 months) and did a FANTASTIC job. They made sure she was calm and loved the day of the surgery. They also texted us updates on how she was doing before, during, and after surgery. And I can’t say enough good things about Dr A. The incision area healed so fast and so well. Our GP recovered and felt like her normal self days before we were expecting her to.
