When I started attending this church, I felt forced to attend. I resented being there. I felt like most people who wonder away from group worship “that I was amongst hypocrites.”
“I can worship God at home!” - I thought. But I continued to attend and with each service my faith grew stronger. The way the service was delivered touched my heart. The worship songs are performed in a very moving and genuine way. I always felt welcome, but I had this feeling inside me that tried to keep me away!
I imagine it is almost like when a child has never experienced kindness and keeps moving from home to home, and then they end up in a home where the adults show unconditional love and patience, but the child is scarred by past hurts that it’s hard for the child to believe that they are loved - that’s the kind of accepting kindness I found there. I fought it, but God won me over.
We have been attending The Vineyard off and on for the last 8 years or so. My youngest child loves it! He was in elementary when we started going there and is now a teen who asks me every weekend to please take them to church bc they enjoys the youth group.
I recommend The Vineyard Church to anyone looking for a place where you can truly come as you are and feel welcome.

This has been my home Church for the last 12 years.
I'm open minded to change. This church has experienced so many changes in the last 3 years. We have a new Pastor, a new Worship Director, a new Children's Pastor, and a new Youth Pastor.
Church service is now just 1 service on Sunday instead of 2.
The church also has experienced a turnover of members. This can be attributed to a new Pastor and the result of Covid 19 protocol.
I personally prefer a small, non denominational church like Vineyard in the Heights.
This church needs structure and consistency. I want a Pastor who will consistently preach God's message at least 3 times per month and maybe have Megan Breed be the Associate Pastor.
This is just my opinion as I am reviewing my home Church.
**** As of April 17th (Easter Sunday), this is no longer my Home Church.
Since the start of 2022, the Lead Pastor has only given a Church Message 5 times.
As I stated before, a Church needs structure & consistency. I need a Pastor who will Pastor.
This Church continues to let go of long termed Staff Members and they are never mentioned or seen again... Pastor Michael Palandro & wife Donna, Worship Director Jessica Lewis and her band, Children's Church Director Jill Lively and Tithe collector & Greeter Don.
We will miss Carlos, his daughter Carla, Sandi, Harry, Megan Breed and the countless volunteers & church members that I was privileged and blessed to meet over the 12 years that I have considered VCH as my Home Church.

My new Home Church thanks to my Best Friend, Richard Kevin Tamez. Thank you Jesus. Pastor Josh Harder is a wonderful messenger of God. Thank you Pastor.

Modern decor with art and a cafe. Service was pleasant with a guest female preacher which is a great example for my daughters AND son. People walked up to us to ensure we were greeted and my children and I felt comfortable. Will definitely be back for another visit.

After one visit, we knew this was a place we wanted to be. There were people from many different countries, socioeconomic backgrounds, age groups, and personalities. The pastors try to learn everyone's name and make all feel welcome. Children's areas are safe with background checks, cameras, and lots of enthusiastic, knowledgeable workers. Messages challenge a new level of faith while encouraging compassion to others.
